A free event! Just turn up!

Why not picnic on the front lawn at Peterborough Cathedral as Eastern Angles community performers present one of the East of England’s own medieval mystery plays. Directed by Tony Casement, Mary & The Midwives will be performed outdoors in and around the porticos of the Cathedral’s West Front.

A grumpy Joseph, a heavily pregnant Mary, and a gaggle of sceptical midwives shed new light on a traditional story that is as funny as it is charming.

Each performance lasts approx 30 minutes.

Funded by Heritage Lottery.
