In Your Skies is a new stage play in development from Norfolk-based writer Mark Finbow. The play explores aspects of ufology and the UFO phenomenon.
Mark has travelled all over the country (and the internet) to uncover a variety of ufological opinions. In partnership with Biddy’s Tea Room Mark hosted some “Flying Saucer Cafes” - an opportunity for experiencers to come together and share their encounters in a relaxed environment. These testimonies were taken into a series of youth theatre workshops at The Corn Hall to develop some of the witness statements visually. All of this research has developed into the first draft of a new stage play.
In Your Skies has been funded by Arts Council England and Eastern Angles. The project has been supported at various stages by The Corn Hall, Weird Norfolk, Biddy’s Tea Room, Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds, The Garage Norwich + The East Anglian UFO Group.
