St Valentines Day 1945, a body is discovered, the crime is steeped in superstition, folklore and tales of monstrous black dogs. The Police are baffled. Thirty years later Ex chief Inspector Robert Forrest spends his days pondering on his past career. A visit from a local reporter unearths some fearful memories. Together they set out to uncover the truth with devastating consequences.
