New Associate Company Announced

Eastern Angles announce theatre company, tusk. as an associate company.

tusk. was formed in 2018 by playwright, Martha Loader and director, Rebecca Abbott after they met on the Regional Theatre Young Director’s Scheme.

tusk. creates thought-provoking contemporary theatre for audiences in the East of England and, in the last two years, have created shows in collaboration with Women’s Voices, Women’s Votes and Colchester + Ipswich Museums and have sold out performances at PULSE Festival, the University of Suffolk, Ipswich Art Gallery and the New Wolsey Studio. Their new affiliation with Eastern Angles will support them to continue making high quality work in and for the region.

Co-director of tusk. Rebecca Abbott said, ‘We are so delighted to have been approached by Eastern Angles. The work they create has always been hugely inspirational to us and our association with them will help us to take our company to the next level. We have got some really exciting projects in the pipeline and we can’t wait to share them with our audiences’.
