Raising Millfield

We're pleased to be launching a brand new project in partnership with the wonderful folk at Peterborough Presents!

Raising Millfield will see Eastern Angles working in partnership with Peterborough Presents to deliver a series of online (and possibly in person) weekly workshops. The workshops will use different art forms to enable people to tell their stories of what it's like growing up and/or raising a family in the Millfield area. We will also work with a local high school and existing community groups to gather a broad range of perspectives. 

The material that's gathered from these sessions will be used by a writer to create an audio play which will be recorded and edited into a walking audio tour for Millfield highlighting stories about spaces and places often overlooked or hidden away. 

The weekly workshops begin on Tuesday 13th April and are for those aged 25+ who identify as female. Head over to Peterborough Presents website to sign up to the sessions.
