The lifeboat never turns back
Hangdog's a lifeboat-man of the old school and an even older fishing family. In his day they fought hard for their place in the crew, weathered storms, sands and sea in their mission to save lives, and never turned back. Now his own nephew, Denny, is questioning his role in the boat.
Jimbo helms an inshore lifeboat and struggles to train a crew in the face of new technology, safety restrictions, and an explosion in people who don't know the sea well enough to be afraid of it.
Are they a match made in heaven or on a coliision course, prepared to do battle between the old and the new, the big boat and the small boat, the fishermen and the 'landlubbers'? The rescues, the rivalries, and the real stories of the crews and coxswains of the North Norfolk lifeboats are told in thrilling theatrical style with the unique imaginative resources that have become the hallmark of Eastern Angles.
