Volunteering is a great way to learn a new skill, make new friends or simply give back to your community. It's extremely rewarding and great for people of any age.

'I enjoy volunteering at Eastern Angles as everyone is friendly and we are a lovely community. Volunteers are necessary to keep the theatre open and it’s great knowing I am doing something worthwhile.' Pam, Eastern Angles Volunteer

Eastern Angles could not run without our dedicated volunteers and there are various ways you can get involved for example:

  • Front of House, running the bar, tearing tickets and selling programmes at performances both at the Sir John Mills Theatre in Ipswich and out on tour across the East of England.
  • Gardening
  • Supporting groups which are running at the Eastern Angles Centre
  • Painting
  • Delivering leaflets and posters

In return for helping us run the Eastern Angles Centre, we reward volunteers with free tickets to Eastern Angles’ shows and invitations to special events.

If you would like to know more about becoming a volunteer, please contact our Theatre and Volunteer Manager Jon Tavener or call 01473 218202.
