Werewolves and vets collide
Victorian England – Percy Tradworth is a struggling young veterinary surgeon in the market town of Grippeswick. His luck begins to change with the arrival, one day, of the mysterious Baron Wildwood, who offers him his patronage.
The Baron installs Percy in a wing of his country seat, the forbidding Wolfbane Manor, built in the 17th Century by Wolfbane Wildwood, a notorious witch hunter. There, Percy encounters Mrs Drascombe, the housekeeper, whose brooding presence hangs over the Manor and its inhabitants.
Percy and Wildwood soon become firm friends, and the Baron soon names the young man as his heir. Only then does Percy learn of the ancient family curse which has doomed all the Lords of Wildwood to become werewolves! The locals stay locked in their homes when the moon is full.
One man is determined to end the terror. Dr Fresco, the local physician. Enlisting the help of his beautiful half-Indian daughter, Maya, along with Inspector Walnutt of Scotland Yard, he prepares a trap for the beast and waits…for the moon to rise!
