A young girl's journey into Africa
Leslie is eighteen, out of school and restless.
Raised with her grandmother's 'Out of Africa' stories ringing in her ears and spurred by her diary entries, Lesley sets off to Kenya, alone. But she's facing modern day Africa and her grandmother's stories are from another era.
In her search for the people and places of her family's past, she engages Joseph, a Nairobi taxi driver, who becomes a fiery travelling companion as they drive deeper into the heart of Kenya and closer to some disturbing discoveries.
Then she disappears...
