Marsh Fever

Thu 29 Apr 1982 - Tue 29 Jun 1982

Black Shuck the demon dog

Through the mist that shrouds the marsh, along lonely moonlit paths, skirting round isolated villages the black dog searches for its victims.

As he prowls the East coast, Black Shuck, the demon dog, strikes fear into the very heart of the community. He hauntes marshland and minds alike. It is said that to look into the fiery glow of his huge eyes or to feel the icy breath of this hound of hell means certain death.

In a lonely village a man lies dead. his body is horribly mutilated. Is this the work of the phantom dog? In his search for the truth the detective from London has to fight against the villagers' natural suspicion of the outsider. But as he unearths deep-rooted superstitions, stephen Amery gets caught up in the tangled web of intrigue.

And still Shuck lurks in the shadows, watching, watching...
