A tale of sex, boat-building and bivalve molluscs.
Eastern Angles combines historical fact and contemporary fiction capturing the soul of an ancient local industry and putting its beating heart on stage.
Oysters is a tale of sex, boat-building and bivalve molluscs. Mo has just turned fifty and busy restoring an oyster dredger recovered from an Essex riverbed. Helping him bring the boat back to life is Kasey, a young intern with chip on her shoulder. When a piece of Mo's beloved dredger goes missing their lives are up-ended and the past floats to the surface. A new play by Ivan Cutting based on oral history interviews developed as part of the Pioneer Sailing Trust Land & Sea project.
