Love, independence and growing up

Katalijne and her mother run a roadside café where young truck driver Remco drops in for his coffee. When 18 year old Katalijne sees Remco for the first time all three lives are changed forever by a fight for the girl’s future. Truckstop is a beautifully constructed thriller about love, independence and growing up.

Truckstop won the the highly prestigious Van der Vries prize in 2005 for the best new play in the Netherlands and was selected for the Escalator East to Edinburgh 2007.
