EA Young Company
Eastern Angles is very excited to announce the launch of EA Young Company alongside the news that we will be participating in the National Theatre Connections Festival 2025!
This is the first time ever that any organisation in Ipswich has participated in National Theatre Connections, and the EA Young Company has been created especially to bring together a talented ensemble of young performers who will participate in the festival.
How to get involved
EA Young Company is open to all young people aged 14-18 (or in school years 10-13).
Sessions are free to attend but admission is by audition only. Auditions will be held on Tuesday 29th October, 5pm-8pm at the Eastern Angles Centre.
EA Young Company regular sessions will take place every Thursday evening 6pm-8pm, during school term time.

What is National Theatre Connections?
NT Connections is a festival of new plays performed by youth theatres and young people up and down the country, led by the National Theatre of Great Britain.
Each year the National Theatre commission a selection of new plays written by professional playwrights, especially for young performers.
Details of EA Young Company's selected play will be announced soon!
Taking place through May 2025, groups of young actors will perform their plays at a local regional theatre to a packed-out audience and will be assessed by representatives of the National Theatre. Then, a small number of those productions will be selected to transfer to the National Theatre itself!
