Medieval Stitchers

Mon 17 Apr 2023 - Mon 26 Jun 2023
  • Duration:1 hour 30 mins

Fancy doing some simple needlework whilst enjoying a friendly chat and a cuppa?

Then we need you!

As part of our Medieval Miracles project, we are creating a beautiful decorative wall-hanging to display in the Eastern Angles Centre.

Starting on Monday April 17th from 2pm – 3.30pm we will be running a series of ten FREE weekly drop-in sessions.

Designed by local textile artist Felicity Borwick, the communal sewing project will be inspired by the beautiful colours and imagery of Medieval art.

Each person will work on their own small panel, bringing their individual ideas and personality to the piece.

You might be passionate patch-worker, a lapsed cross-stitcher, or a needlework novice….everyone is welcome! No experience necessary!

Do please join us and help Eastern Angles create a wonderful, creative, lasting legacy that will be enjoyed for years to come.

Important details:

All sessions will run in the Community Room at the Eastern Angles Centre, 2pm-3.30pm, every Monday (except Bank Holidays) from 17th April - 26th June.

All sessions are free to attend and there's no need to stay for the duration, just drop in when you can. Please do book a place if you plan on coming along so we know how many people to expect in advance. Click on the DATES AND TIMES tab above to book your place.
