There is more to Peterborough than its parkways!
Did you know that Peterborough is rich in folklore, from the legends associated with the medieval abbey to phantom airships, to its half-forgotten holy wells, unique saints, tales of witchcraft, bogey beasts and innumerable ghosts. Phew! This seminar which is being led by Dr Francis Young will take participants on a story filled journey into all of these myths and more. Based on his up coming book, Peterborough Folklore and derived from his research, this seminar will both surprise those who know Peterborough well and those who don't.
