Sudbury Stories

Sat 1 Jun 2024 - Sat 1 Jun 2024

A free community story sharing event celebrating the town of Sudbury!

Saturday 1st June, 10.30am-4pm

Come and spend a day with professional storyteller Justine de Mierre, finding your inner storyteller and learning how to let them shine!

Throughout the day there'll be exercises and techniques to help you master oral storytelling, and then a chance to craft your own tale of life in Sudbury which you'll be able to share on the day through our interactive phone box, perform live on stage, or share with a professional to perform. There'll also be the chance express yourself through collage as we create an artistic tribute to the town.

You can bring a favourite memory, anecdote or story you'd like to work on to share, or see what springs to mind on the day.

All welcome - no experience necessary! This event is Free.
