Alyson Tipping Joins Eastern Angles

We're delighted to welcome our new Engagement Manager Alyson Tipping to the Eastern Angles team.

Aly's previous freelance roles include: Project and Outreach Manager for the arts charity FlipSide where she has delivered 4 multi-arts festivals at Snape Maltings, a youth arts festival in Lowestoft and numerous outreach projects across the region. Project Manager for Wonderful Beast Theatre Company, delivering their recent tour to Suffolk Libraries and Project Coordinator for DanceEast. For FlipSide Aly has also been involved in the development of First Light, a major multi-arts festival which is due to take place in Lowestoft in 2019 in partnership with Hemingway Designs.

"I'm thrilled to be working at Eastern Angles, I admire their work and can't wait to get stuck in; I love people and as a child I always wanted to work in the theatre, so a feel I've landed my dream job!"

Fun facts: As a child Aly appeared in ITV children's TV show 3, 7, 11.  She has  LAMDA gold medals in both Theatre and Poetry and Prose. She did a solo recital at the Millennium Festival in Leeds. She once ran a village shop.

Originally from Burnley, Lancashire Aly moved to Suffolk (via Gloucestershire and Northamptonshire) in 2009 and now lives in Ipswich with her husband, two children, three cats, two rabbits and 40,000 bees!

Aly will start work with us full time in November but will be popping in and doing bits and bobs over the next couple of months, be sure to say hi!
