East Anglian Railway Museum this weekend!

If you are attending a performance of 'Private Resistance' this Friday or Saturday at the East Anglian Railaway Museum you may be interested to know that there is a new catering company there called Platform 2 Catering Limited who will be running the bar and providing the light refreshments this coming Friday and Saturday evenings.

They have asked us to let you know the following...

We focus very much on what is available locally and is seasonal wherever and whenever possible. We are delighted to provide vegetarian and vegan alternatives.
Sandwich platters for pre-performance eating must be booked. Platters for the interval can be booked on the evening.

We can offer mixed platters of :
• Sandwiches made with local bread and the following deep fillings:
o Hand carved Essex ham with Suffolk mustard
o Local Free range egg mayonnaise and cress
o Taw Valley Cheddar and Suffolk Pickle
o Tuna mayonnaise and sweetcorn
• Handmade sausage rolls with local pork
• Local crisps
• We can offer vegetarian platters if required substituting ham for hummus and mushroom pate instead of tuna.

The platters are priced at £20 for a platter to serve 4 people and £10 for a platter to serve 2 people.

There will also be local ice creams!

We will be offering a bar with House Red, White and Rose wines at £3.00 per glass or £13.50 per bottle, local bottled lager and local bottled beer at £2.99 a bottle, local premier cru cider at £3.75 per bottle, local fruit juice and a small selection of soft drinks at between £1.50 and £2.25. The bar will be open from 6pm until 11pm.
