Emerging Talent Residency: Lewis Beaver

Lewis Beaver is a writer and performer from Peterborough. He first started writing short plays and performances whilst studying at University. Through his writing he likes to examine the usual relationship between the audience and the performer and invent new ways of playing with this. 

During his residency, Lewis will be working on his piece After The Tone, written whilst at university, expanding his script and learning new ways of implementing technology into this performance. He intends to convert his performance into an installation piece rather than a traditional performance. 

This residency is part of a pilot programme in Peterborough which tests out supported residencies for early career artists. It is run in partnership with Metal and University Centre Peterborough.
