Is there a car park?

Yes, there is a free car park. Enter this address into your sat nav and it'll take you directly to the car park: Butt Lane, Burgh Castle, Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, NR31 9QB

There will also be sign posts and an usher to direct you into a space.

From the car park, it is a short walk through the pedestrian gates and then along the path to the theatre.

If the car park is full, please use the Village Hall car park which is a 4-5 minute walk away.

What about accessibility?

There is an accessible car park to the right after entering the entrance of Burgh Castle. This will be sign posted.

The site will have step free access from the car park to the theatre tent, through the accessbile gate, pictured below.

Please be aware that the venue is situated on a grass field and there is compacted gravel path from the car park to the theatre.

Ensure you’ve booked a wheelchair space in the auditorium by calling Box Office on 01473 211498 (Mon-Fri, 10am-2pm).

If you have any questions on access, please contact the admin office on 01473 218202.

Are there toilet on site?

Yes, we will be bringing porta loos with us.

How far is it to walk to the actual tide jetty?

It’s around a 10 minute walk to the turn tide jetty and a further 10-15 minute walk to the tide jetty; so 20-30 minutes in full, or up to 1 hour round trip. The terrain is flat, but there is a slope at the start. All public walks are sign posted.

What should I wear?

We recommend comfy clothes and sturdy shoes as we’re on grass. We will be in a tent which doesn’t have heating. It does get warm in there if the sun is shining, but equally gets cold in the evening – keep an eye on the weather.
