Introducing The Fenland Screamers Cast

The Fenland Screamers & Other Boggy Tales begins rehearsals next week so it's time to introduce you to our 2018 cast...

Joe Leat

Joe returns to Eastern Angles after starring in The Mystery of St. Finnigan's Elbow in 2014 and most recently this year in Everything Must Go!His other theatre credits include: Our Blue Heaven (New Wolsey Theatre) The 39 Steps, Murder by the Book, The Prisoner of Zenda, Murder Weapon (Suffolk Summer Theatres), Breathing the Blue (Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds), Shakespeare Showcase, Alfie Strange, When I Grow Up (New Wolsey Theatre) Orpheus/Chiron & Others in Justin & the Argonauts, Villefort/Jacapo in The Count of Monte Cristo, and Fritz/Rupert in The Prisoner of Zenda (Common Ground Theatre Company).

Geri Allen

Geri is also back with Eastern Angles after starring in Stoat Hall in 2016. Since then she has gone on to play Smitty in How to Succeed without Really Trying (Wilton’s Music Hall); Mrs Fezziwig in A Christmas Carol the Musical (Brewhouse Theatre); Performer in Effigies of Wickedness (English National Opera/Gate Theatre) and Mabel Taliafero in Luna Park (Tristan Bates Theatre). Previous theatre credits also include: Grease the Musical (Scandinavian Tour); Danny the Champion of the World (UK Tour); Cinderella and the Glass Slipper (Hertford Theatre); Wind in the Willows (UK tour); Robin Hood (UK tour).

Eloise Kay

Eloise Kay is an actress, singer and musician from Lancashire. Trained at Drama Studio London (Postgraduate Acting) and the University of Cambridge (BA Hons Music), Eloise has performed live on BBC and ITV television and BBC radio, toured Morocco, America, Italy, Spain, France, Germany and the UK, and recorded several CDs with choirs such as Sidney Sussex Chapel Choir and the Hallé. Previous theatre credits include Blonde Bombshells of 1943 (Ovation Theatre), The Phantom Bantam of the Opera, The Old Curiosity Shop and The Mariner (Common Ground), Phillip Thicknesse: Friend or Foe (Woven Theatre) and The House of Usher (Hope Theatre, Islington).

James Macnaughton

James trained at Birmingham School of Acting. Theatre credits include: Macbeth, A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Shakespeare’s Rose); Romeo & Juliet (RSC Open Air Theatre/UK Tour); Tempestory (Birmingham REP/International Tour); Twelfth Night, The Tempest (Young Shakespeare Company); A Cool Million (RADA Gielgud Theatre/Jack Studio Theatre); Merry War (Almagro Festival/UK Tour); MonologueSlam (Theatre Royal Stratford East); The Passion of Jesus (No Loss Productions).

Television credits include:  The Hollow Crown (BBC/Shakespeare Productions Ltd).

Anthony Pinnick

Fresh from performing in Common Ground Theatre Company's The Mariner, Anthony joins the cast of The Fenland Screamers for 2018. His previous theatre credits include: 

The Tales of Hans Christian Andersen, A Gloucestershire Midwinter (Hammerpuzzle Theatre Company & Everyman Cheltenham), Orpheus & Eurydice (Insane Root), Dracula (Pleasance Edinburgh, King’s Head), Richard II (Shakespeare’s Globe), Peter Pan (Theatre By The Lake), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Courtyard Theatre), Up From Paradise (New Wimbledon Studio), The Little Mermaid (Riverside Studios), Romeo & Juliet (UK & Europe tour), The London Cuckolds (Pleasance Islington), Richard III (UK tour). Anthony is also lead guitarist in rock band Effra Social.
