Opening the Centre Room

31 August 2021

Since expanding into the former Suffolk Records Office building and launching the new Eastern Angles Centre last year, we have been delighted to welcome a diverse range of local arts and community groups into our building. Now, in the newly painted Centre Room we are thrilled to be launching two new projects for local residents starting 13th September!

Digital Drop in

Running from 1pm-2.30pm Monday-Thursday, Digital Drop in is a chance for you to access a computer and get online for free. With a help on hand if needed, you can drop in to fill in those complicated forms or get to grips with Zoom! There's no need to book a table, just drop in and get online.

Homework Club

We'll also be opening up the Centre Room to local students to use as a quiet space to do their homework. You'll be able to use one of our computers with free printing and access to their internet to complete all your studying needs.

For students in Years 4 and up, these sessions will run from 3pm-5pm Monday-Thursday during term time only. Booking is required and opens soon.

For more information about both our Digital Drop in and Homework Club, please contact us on community@easternangles.co.uk or 01473 211498.

These projects have been made possible thanks to funding from Ipswich Borough Council.
