Palm Wine & Stout - First Week

First week of rehearsals of Palm Wine and Stout was fantastic as I got to meet the whole company as a family. We had a company reading of the play, had a lovely lunch provided by the company and really got on with the cast from the get-go. I was welcomed as a member of that family and I felt that has been one of the strong points of this experience so far.

During the weeks of rehearsal, whilst having fun, I've been finding characters for the roles I play: Femi, Abraham and Bride from Hell. It's joyful to work with a company that's full of energy, optimistic and everyone's on the same page and always willing to try.

I have been blessed so far and I know by the time this play tours around it's going to be fun. Most, if not everyone are going to enjoy it, and we as a team are only going to get closer. It's a privilege to be working with Eastern Angles Theatre.
