Production Notes for The Reapers Year

THE REAPERS YEAR begins a trilogy of plays, about a farming family through the years. It takes Eastern Angles almost twenty years before finally completing the trilogy!  One week into rehearsal the bank refuses to extend our overdraft any further. Each of the original Angles is personally liable for a part of the £8000. Part of the company forgoes half their wages to enable the tour, although a last minute rescue from Suffolk County and a loan from the Equity Emergency Theatre Fund sees us through to the end of March and a new bank.
