Script Submissions
Eastern Angles is the touring theatre company for the East of England. At our heart, our work champions new writing inspired by the communities and landscape of East Anglia.
Our Script Submissions portal, new for 2024/25, is a chance for playwrights to submit their work, receive constructive feedback and connect with us.
When submitting, writers can opt in or out of having their work considered for our monthly Play, Pizza & Pints nights.
Guidelines for writers:
- Submitted scripts can be first drafts or more fully developed scripts, but they must be full-length submissions. We can not accept extracts of scrips - for ideas at an earlier stage of development, consider booking on to one of our Monthly Meets.
- Writers can submit a maximum of one script per form. We receive a lot of script submissions so in order to be as fair as possible we can't accept multiple submissions on the same form. Writers can submit again on our summer form, which we'll publish in June 2024.
- Submitted works must be playscripts intended for theatrical performance.
- The submit work must be original writing - we can't accept adaptations.
This opportunity is open to all writers, no matter their experience levels, although we will place priority on those based in or from East Anglia.
If you have any questions about the Script Submissions process, please get in touch with Eastern Angles Associate Director (Engagement & Participation) Callum Berridge - email callum@easternangles.co.uk or 01473 218202.
