The Studio @ EA , Ipswich

The Studio @ EA is situated within the Eastern Angles Centre on Gatacre Road. The room is a flexible studio space ideal for rehearsals, theatre performances, filming etc. The equipment already available in this room includes raked seating, lighting desk, sound desk and a basic festival rig. The theatre seats a maximum of 120 people in traverse and 80 people end on.

Theatre hire rates include using our Box Office services for ticket sales and technical and bar facilities. Hirers will also have access to a backstage area for performers, costumes and set. There are toilet facilities including disabled access. The room has same level entry and exit, and there is a loop system available.

Alongside being the Ipswich home to Eastern Angles' own productions, the The Studio @ EA often hosts local amateur dramatic societies as well as music and comedy nights for professional performers.
