Last Chance to See Freemans Exhibition
19 October 2018Delivered by Freemans is a Heritage Lottery Funded project which looked back at the people who worked at Freemans Distribution Centre in Peterborough from 1969-2009.
The project saw Eastern Angles produce a community musical play based on interviews with employees of the firm in All Wrapped Up in Westwood. The company also recreated the company newsletters and researched through the archives to find pictures, clothes and articles from a pivotal part of Peterborough's industry.
The final part of the project has seen a new exhibition tour the city and include a reunion event. It is now at its final tour date at the Vivacity Shop in Queensgate Shopping Centre from 10am-4pm tomorrow. Pop in to say hi, have a read and let us know your memories of Freemans!
