The Undercroft Weekender kicks off on Friday and runs through til Sunday this week! It's a free family festival outside Serpentine Green Shopping Centre with a variety of activity from live music, face painting, theatre and sports to magic, poetry and film.
If you're coming along or interested in what to expect, read all the details below.
The Undercroft Weekender is taking place on Silver Hill outside Serpentine Green Shopping Centre in Peterborough (pictured above left). The postcode for Serpentine Green is PE7 8BE. The Eastern Angles Pavilion (pictured right) will be on site where some of the theatre and poetry events will be taking place. There are outside events also happening on Silver Hill green such as Suitcase Shakespeare, Frumenty Folk Band and Pilates Taster Session.
The Undercroft Theatre will also be holding events, this is located inside Serpentine Green on the right hand side of the Silver Hill/Hampton entrance. If entering Serpentine Green from the main car park, go into the shopping centre, head towards the food court, go down the escalators or lift and The Undercroft will be on your left. Take a look at the video below if you're unsure of where to go. You can also follow the giant orange footsteps to the venue. (Pictured above right).
Studio 4 in The Undercroft will be open for Korpfest Paint Jam where 20 of the UK's finest street artists will be painting murals live. Plus see exhibitions Cut, Spray & Pray and What Hampton Means to Me.
All venues are accessible.
